While it's fine, generally it's considered common courtesy not to type out the really heavy accents.

For example, if someone apps a German character, it would be difficult to read "Ach, zat vas a gud bowl of cereal" for some players.

However, if someone apps a character with a southern accent, it wouldn't be such a stretch to type "Howdy, y'all! Whatcha doin'?"
